I have been using the blanket approach to create this guide, but I want to know what the needs of my readers is. If you have a question about a mechanic in the game, or are curious about how to do something, or even just want clarification or reference, post a comment here or feel free to email me at mcnpandroid@gmail.com. I will put up a Q&A page to answer questions emailed in to me, and I will choose 1 topic a week to dedicate a guide to.
The sender of the winning question will receive an item in game, if your player name is provided in the email. I will upon request keep your player name anonymous.
Don't be shy! The only bad questions are the ones never asked, and odds are if you have a question, someone else has the same question.
I would like to see some a small overview on a couple of things:
ReplyDelete1) When is a good time to focus on leveling certain stats? I focused on Stamina in the beginning, but how much is enough to avoid being too low on Attack and Defense later?
2) What cards are worth maxing out? Are Rares worth it, or would you only max something S Rare and above?
Thank you very much for the guide! It is quite literally the only decent resource I have found thus far.
I have loads of questions! :P BE PREPARED, lol.
ReplyDelete1) Are friendship points used only to buy a card pack, or can you do more with friendship points?
2) and do the chances of getting a better card when buying a card pack increase when you level up? (so, do you get better cards at level 50 then at level 20)
3) At the moment I completed my "ring" treasure. When are you able to search for the next treasure?
4) what is the purpoise to join an Order? What can you do instead of just..."being in an order with some people"
5)is there a way to find players via their wish-list? So for example; I have an item I want to trade, can I search for players who want that item?
6) I see lots of players with higher levels, who have form one high normal cards. Are you able to get those via quests in later stages? Because I've only been getting normal cards in quests at this time (I'm lvl 17)
and....those are it....(well...for now) ;)
(sorry if I made any spelling mistakes, I'm Dutch)
I second #2, #6 of kim's comments.
ReplyDeleteMy reply to Kimberly
1- I can only see them being used for card packs. I have gotten a few rare cards from it.
3- I think the newx treasure hunt starts in area/chapter 4. The stages with the gold question mark boxes means treasurec.
4- talk with others. higher lvl orders get various bonuses +5% def for [card type]
5- not that I know of
RB lvl 26
Where are you going to post the artwork archive?
ReplyDeletehave a 7th question to add :P
ReplyDelete7) when enhancing a card, does it matter what card you use to enhance? I've been sacrificing my low lvl normal cards to enhance my stronger cards, but is it better to use stonger cards to gain more stats?
Thank you for all your comments and emails, I will have the FAQ up this afternoon and the new guide up this evening (I am in the Central time zone).
ReplyDeleteI guess my question is an extension to the enhancing, is there a set exp needed to level each tier of all cards? It seems like there are different tiers even within the normal category(I'm only 11 so I'm not all too familiar with the game yet) because some normal have as low as 780 points between ATK and DEF and some as high as 1280 maybe higher? So what I'm wondering is it better to use more cards on your first enhancement to try and get it as close to max in one bang or to do it with less cards each time? I noticed after I enhanced some cards I couldn't enhance them with just any normal card anymore. Any help is appreciated and thanks for all the info you put up already, great stuff! My in game name is Deputydog17 if anyone wants to be fellows.
ReplyDeleteThe maximum level a card can reach depends on its rarity. Normal cards can reach 20, High Normal 30, Rare 40, High Rare 50, etc. There are some exceptions to this rule like Gold Dragons and Angel Queens etc. Keep in mind that when a card reaches it's final form via evolution, it will increase in rarity, and be able to gain 10 more levels than it's previous evolutions.
DeleteI feel like an idiot.. I misunderstood what I read in the enhancing/evolving thread. I've been wasting my cards enhancing every level of every card trying to get the "max" for the archive but I now realise 20 levels later that you meant evolution not enhancing. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteFrom what I understand you saying, it sounds like you were doing it right. To get the most out of a card you would MAX it at every evolution. And for the archive bonus, you get 1 credit towards the bonus for each stage of evolution Maxxed as well. I'm 'just' getting to the point where I can focus on enhancing cards just for the archive bonus, and I will be posting a guide that goes more in depth here in the near future.
DeleteWell that's good to hear but I was maxing the 1st form of really low cards and it didn't get me very far, I just wish I had all those cards I used for my somewhat higher cards now and all the rupies I used
ReplyDeleteHello, I am new to this game and I am liking it very much. My question is, after completing the 2nd series of quests, I still lack 2 treasure rings (green and blue) to complete the collection. Where can I find the remaining rings?
ReplyDeleteHey was just wondering where the option was to upload a pic for the order? Could u please let me know the steps to do this? I have iPhone
ReplyDeleteI'm not clear on the most effective way to enhance/evolve cards. If I want the best possible result from evolution, does that mean I have to enhance four cards of the same type to maximum level, and then evolve them all together? Or am I misunderstanding it?
ReplyDeleteIf you want the strongest possible evolution of a card, you will have to have 8 of the card you want to evolve, max each of them, and evolve into 4 card+, then max those to 2 card++, then max them and evolve to Final Form card and max that. However, that can be relatively impractical, since the cards you want the strongest are rare, and getting 8 can be a pain in the rear, the most effective way to evolve and enhance rare cards is to max 2, evolve, and max card+ and a basic card, evolve to card ++ and max, and another basic card. Maxing allows you to retain 10% of the stats from the card, and of course it will have significantly higher stats to begin with. If you still have some questions about evolving / enhancing, let me know.
DeleteHere is a great question for you as I feel that you have covered most of the basics in detail.
ReplyDeleteCould you explain the Skill process? Many cards have skills, but I do not know the difference between a small boost, a medium boost, or great boost. In addition, there are skill levels and I have not found anything about them.
It seems that skills do not cast sometimes. If you increase the skill level, do they get stronger or cast more often?
Here is how I am "guessing" how skills work, since it will take a lot more research than I'm really able to perform right now. I'm assuming a small boost is 5%, and since skill levels only go up to 4, that each skill level adds about 1%, and each word used for the amount of boost, ie (small, medium, big, etc) is just a 5% increment in skill strength. I will be adding more information as the mysteries unravel.
DeleteAs far as when skills cast, I had noticed the same thing, and have begun to assume that only 2 skills with similar effects can be cast per battle. So if my assumption is correct, say you are attacking someone, you would be able to cast 2 defense lowering skills, and 2 attack increasing skills, however, I have not evolved and maxxed an effective deck to test this theory yet.
Actually skills do go beyond 4. I have a few cards over that including a lvl 10 skill card - ifrit. If u like I can email u a screenshot.
DeleteHow do we go about getting "excellent" or "perfect" enhancements? I assume there's a set formula of some sort (rather than just blind luck) but I have no idea what.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Does it matter what type of cards we use to enhance? As in like to enhance a demon card will it gain more xp by using a demon card or it doesn't matter which type I use?
ReplyDeleteI am unable to access my presents. My inbox says I have 7 presents, but the presents screen says "you have no presents to claim". Is there some option at the top that I cannot see due to the Back and Next buttons?
