Navigating

Navigating Rage of Bahamut can seem daunting at first, personally I didn't even notice the 'menu' button until I was past level 20. There is a shortcut bar at the bottom to access the most used features of the game. The quest shortcut will take you straight to the latest quest available to you. The battle shortcut will take you to the main battle menu. The enhance shortcut will take you to the enhance card feature, and the evolve shortcut takes you to the evolve card feature.

At the top of the screen there are shortcuts to Mobage, a sort of social networking that the game is tied into, if you have a RoB account, you have a Mobage account. Top and center is the navigation bar, which works just like a browser navigation bar, with <<back {(home)} next>> keys. Top right is where you can access the Card Shop. This is where you can use your legend card pack claim tickets, and your friendship points to obtain friendship packs. There is also High Rare&UP card packs, that cost MobaCoins. More purchase options will probably be available in the future.

This is the Full Menu screen, where you can access pretty much anything in the game. The shop in this menu is where you purchase Cure water, Holy powder and magic circles with Mobacoins. SNS is where you can find special promotions. Guidance offers minimal assistance with game features. User search is where you should search for Akzel5 and fellow request to support this online guide. History gives you a brief synopsis of your activity, including attacks made against you, and what items and how much gold you've lost to other players. The wishlist is a useful feature that allows other players to see what items or cards you are interested in receiving. Trade allows you to trade items and cards (not including event treasure) with other players.

More details on navigating in certain windows will be presented when discussing those features.

  2. No question is a stupid question. This game can be a bit confusing, being of Japanese origin. The center card of those 5 should always be your 'Lead' card, which is the card you fight bosses with and whatnot, and I'm assuming the other 4 have something to do with your recommended ATK or DEF hand. The cards change quite a bit, and I don't think it takes your ATK or DEF power into account. It's pretty safe to 'disregard' it, as you will eventually build hands to attack or defend against certain hands anyways, but that is for a later post. The cards could be random though, my main has a MAX Gold Fox ++ and a FF MAX Atlas, and ogre, and a relatively high level Gold Fox that I intend to evolve with soon, yet my main 5 cards show as "Lillith|Jiao|Gold Fox++|Jiao|Witchette" and when I refreshed the main page, it changed. For now, I'll just chalk it up to an aesthetic window, but I know there's something going on there since the lead card is always centered.

    1. Friendship packs, Treasure series, Legend claim tickets, Event cards, Silver Coin packs. These are all sources that given time, you will almost certainly encounter Rare and up cards. People with lower levels may have focused on completing the treasure series or have gotten lucky in friendship packs, or perhaps just have another account which sent them some strong starter cards. I didn't start obtaining stronger cards until I was past lvl 40 it seems. Give it some time, just enhance and evolve the cards you get, and when you get a Rare you like, beef it up!
